Police seek SUV in Burlington Centre mall shooting

Halton Regional Police say they are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of Burlington Centre at 777 Guelph Line that left one man dead on February 9, 2026. Officers were called to the scene at about 10:10 p.m. after a man was shot and later pronounced dead in hospital. Police say the suspect vehicle was a white SUV that was later found abandoned and set on fire in Hamilton, and they are also seeking information about a dark-coloured compact SUV seen nearby. Anyone with information or security and dash cam footage from the area is asked to contact police.
