Burlington homicide charge laid

Halton Regional Police Service says a 46-year-old Burlington man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a homicide in Burlington on September 10, 2026. Officers responded to an apartment in the area of Guelph Line and Glencrest Road at about 6:30 a.m. and found an adult woman deceased inside. Police say the suspect fled the residence before officers arrived and was later arrested in the Niagara Falls area. Police say no additional suspects are being sought.
