On that date at about 6:30 a.m., officers attended an apartment in the area of Guelph Line and Glencrest Road to check on the well-being of a female occupant and found an adult female deceased inside. Police say a male suspect in his 40s fled before officers arrived, was later located and arrested in the Niagara Falls area, and no additional suspects are being sought.
