Safari Road Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Kirkwall to Valens) (Ward 13) (a) That the General Manager, Public Works, BE AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED to file the Safari Road (Kirkwall Road to Valens Road) Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Project File Report with the Municipal Clerk for a minimum thirty (30) day public review period; and (b) That staff BE DIRECTED to report back to Public Works Committee, prior to initiating a capital project submission to a future capital budget, with a full assessment of alternative 2, including: (i) impacts; (ii) costs and benefits; and (iii) consideration of the existing infrastructure spending deficit for our transportation network and the City of Hamilton’s Biodiversity Action Plan.
