Wilson) WHEREAS, the International Village BIA has advocated for the improvement and activation of Ferguson Station, which has become a central location for events all year round; WHEREAS, adding permanent decorative lighting improves safety and security, and creates an inviting atmosphere in the space; and Audit, Finance and Administration Committee May 28, 2026 Minutes AFA 26-007 Page 5 of 9 Refer to the June 3, 2026 Council Minutes for the disposition of these matters. WHEREAS, the project has been costed at an upset limit of $25,000 and, with a $10,000 contribution from the Economic Development division, there is a funding gap of $15,000 for the purchase of lights and installation. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: (a) That Decorative lighting and installation at Ferguson Station to International Village Business Improvement Area, BE FUNDED from the Ward 2 Capital Reinvestment Reserve #108052 at an upset limit, including contingency, not to exceed $15,000; and (b) That the Mayor and City Clerk BE AUTHORIZED to execute any required agreement(s) and ancillary documents, with such terms and conditions in a form satisfactory to the City Solicitor.
