The motion, as recorded in the minutes:
WHEREAS, Stoney Creek Little League plays baseball at Cherry Heights Park (90 Stoney Brook Drive), Albion Estates Park (52 Amberwood Street), Ferris Park (25 Lynwood Drive), Green Acres Park (880 Queenston Road), and Paramount Park (1170 Paramount Drive); and, WHEREAS, funding is required for the supply and installation and any additional required cleaning for accessible portable toilets in these parks, for the summer season (approximately May to November 2026) to support both baseball groups. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: (a) That the provision of accessible portable toilets be approved in the following Hamilton Park locations: (ii) Inch Park, 400 Queensdale Avenue East, Hamilton, to be funded from the Ward 7 Capital Discretionary Account (#3302309700), at an upset limit, including contingency, not to exceed $2,000, be approved; and (ii) Cherry Heights Park (90 Stoney Brook Drive), Albion Estates Park (52 Amberwood Street), Ferris Park (25 Lynwood Drive), Green Acres Park (880 Queenston Road), and Paramount Park (1170 Paramount Drive), to be funded from the Stoney Creek Compensation Royalties (Terrapure Landfill) #117036 at an upset limit, including contingency, not to exceed $10,000; and, (b) That the General Manager, Public Works or designate be authorized to approve and execute any and all required agreements and ancillary documents, with such terms and conditions in a form satisfactory to the City Solicitor, related to the implementation of temporary accessible portable toilets in Hamilton Parks.
