The motion, as recorded in the minutes:

Protocol (City Wide), be received. CARRIED (ii) (Francis/Pauls) That Report PED25122(c), dated June 16, 2026, respecting Amendments to the City of Hamilton Municipal Support Resolution Protocol (City Wide), and the accompanying presentation, be received and the recommendations contained therein be approved: (a) That the revised Municipal Support Resolution Protocol and Request Form, attached as Appendix “A” and “A1” to Report PED25122(c), be approved; (b) That a Conditional Blanket Municipal Support Resolution for all rooftop solar proposals within the City of Hamilton for the sole purpose of satisfying the mandatory requirements of the Long- Term 2 Request for Proposals, and subject to the following conditions, be approved; (i) The project is participating in the Independent Electricity System Operator Long-Term 2 Request for Proposals; and, (ii) The proponent has engaged with the Ward councillor and the appropriate local distribution company prior to the submission of a request for a Blanket Municipal Support Resolution confirmation letter; and, (c) That the Director of Planning and Chief Planner be delegated authority to prepare and issue a Blanket Municipal Support Planning Committee June 16, 2026 Minutes PLC 26-008 Page 16 of 31 Please refer to the June 24, 2026 Council Minutes for the disposition of these matters. Confirmation Letter for projects that have met the conditions outlined in recommendation (b) to the satisfaction of the City of Hamilton.
