Multi-Year Service Agreements (City Wide) (A. Wilson/Beattie) That Report PED26126, dated July 8, 2026, respecting Multi-Year Service Agreements (City Wide), be received and the following recommendation be approved: (a) That the Director, Tourism and Culture, or their designate, be directed to negotiate and execute, on behalf of the City, a license and service agreement, in the amount of $50,000 annually with the Dundas Lions Club for the delivery of the annual Victoria Day Celebration and Fireworks for a one-year term beginning in 2027, with the option to renew for four subsequent years, and any necessary ancillary documents and/or agreement, with content acceptable to the General Manager, Planning and Economic Development, or their designate, and in a form acceptable to the City Solicitor. (b) That the Director, Tourism and Culture, or their designate, be directed to negotiate and execute, on behalf of the City, a license and service agreement, in the amount of $25,000 annually with the Downtown Hamilton Business Improvement Area for the delivery of the annual Christmas in Gore Park Tree Lighting event for a one-year term beginning in 2026, with the option to renew for four subsequent years, and any General Issues Committee July 8, 2026 Minutes – GIC 26-010 Page 7 of 22 Please refer to the July 15, 2026 Council minutes for the disposition of these matters. necessary ancillary documents and/or agreements, with content acceptable to the General Manager, Planning and Economic Development, or their designate, and in a form acceptable to the City Solicitor.
