Community Paramedic Permanent Funding Announcement (City Wide) (Hwang/M. Wilson) That Report HSC26057, dated July 9, 2026, respecting Community Paramedic Permanent Funding Announcement (City Wide) (Outstanding Business List Item), be received, and the following recommendations be approved: (a) That report HSC26057 respecting the Community Paramedic Permanent Funding Announcement, be received, (b) That the Ministry of Health’s ongoing funding for the Community Paramedicine Long-Term Care program, in the amount of $1,994,350, be accepted; (c) That the Hamilton Paramedic Service staffing complement of 12 Full Time Equivalents (FTEs) established under the original Transfer Payment Agreement (Report HSC21012, March 25, 2021), be confirmed as permanent positions within the City's complement, fully funded by the Ministry of Health with no impact to the City tax levy; and, (d) That the Chief of Hamilton Paramedic Service or delegate be authorized and directed to sign the updated Transfer Payment Agreement and any subsequent amendments or reports required by the Ministry of Health for the ongoing delivery of the program
