Ontario Works Eligibility and Overpayment Processes (City Wide) (Outstanding Business List Item) (A. Wilson/Hwang) That Report HSC26018, dated July 9, 2026, respecting Ontario Works Eligibility and Overpayment Processes (City Wide) (Outstanding Business List Item), be received, and the following recommendations be approved: (a) That the General Manager, Healthy and Safe Communities be directed to send a letter to the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services requesting that the Province expedite the review and referral of all historical Ontario Works overpayments to enable enhanced collection; and, (b) That Outstanding Business List Item respecting Ontario Works Eligibility and Overpayment Processes, be identified as completed and removed from the Emergency and Community Services Committee Outstanding Business List.
