Police Investigate Homicide After May Assault

Hamilton Police say they are investigating a homicide after a man died from injuries sustained during an assault in May. Police responded on May 31, 2026, to the area of Wentworth Street North and Bristol Street and found an adult male with a serious head injury. He was taken to hospital and died on July 30, 2026. Police describe the suspect as a Black male of medium build wearing a white T-shirt, white shorts and a white bucket-style hat.
