Police say officers responded to a 911 call from a taxi driver on August 9, 2026, at 2:27 p.m. for a stabbing near Main St. W. and Frid Street, where they found a man with stab wounds who later died in hospital. The suspect was arrested without incident on August 11, 2026 and made a first court appearance this morning. Police say four other people witnessed the incident and have been identified and interviewed.
