Hamilton Police Investigating Overnight Arson

Hamilton Police are investigating an overnight arson at a residence in the area of Princess Street and Birch Avenue. Police say the fire was reported around 3 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, and the occupants safely exited the home with no injuries reported. Hamilton Fire extinguished the fire, which caused an estimated $3,000 to $5,000 in damage, and investigators determined it was deliberately set.
