HUB Operational Stabilization and Customer Service Support Measures (City Wide) (Hwang/Kroetsch) (a) That Report FCS21082(n), dated September 3, 2026, respecting the HUB Operational Stabilization and Customer Service Support Measures (City Wide), be received and the following recommendation, be approved: (i) That the temporary waiver of penalty and interest charges on Hamilton Utility Billing (HUB) water and wastewater utility accounts be extended from September 30, 2026 to January 31, 2027, to support customers while temporary operational stabilization measures are implemented and outstanding customer service and back-office workloads are reduced, with penalty and interest charges resuming February 1, 2027; and Audit, Finance and Administration Committee September 3, 2026 Minutes AFA 26-011 Page 9 of 14 Refer to the September 9, 2026, Council Minutes for the disposition of these matters.
