Hamilton Police say two people have been charged and a third is wanted after a shooting investigation in Dundas. Police responded shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, to reports of gunfire near John Prentice Park and Renata Court, where officers found three males near a wooded area and arrested two nearby while a third fled. Investigators later executed a search warrant at a Hamilton residence on September 8, 2026 and seized several firearms, ammunition, armoured plating and tactical equipment. A 27-year-old Oakville man and a 25-year-old Thornbury man are charged, and a 25-year-old Dundas man is wanted.
